Notable changes in the Second Edition:

• Questions and answers have been updated to account for amendments to the Uniform Probate Code in 2008 and 2019
• One exam (exam #8) is designed to test specifically on California law. Many states are removing wills and trusts from their bar exams. California has (at least for now) elected to replace wills and trusts with “estate planning” as a tested topic. As a result, California law on wills and trusts remains important for California bar examinees. Many California law schools teach wills and trusts with an emphasis on California law.
• Answers include increased attention to the possibilities of different outcomes under varying state laws.
