Outline

The 4th edition of the Energy Law Nutshell has made notable changes from the last edition. First, the political and policy dimensions of energy law are updated through the Biden administration. Second, each of the individual resource chapters have been updated with new statutory and case law. Third, the chapter on Clean Energy also takes into account the contemporary movement to a net-zero energy economy. Finally, a new chapter has been added that addresses a just transition as the United States and other countries move from a fossil fuel economy to a clean energy economy based upon renewable resources and energy efficiency.
